ERA Arqueologia podcast recognised in the Science, Technology and Education category

The podcast ‘Ancestral Landscape – Ceremonial Sites of the Guadiana Region’, produced by ERA Arqueologia, has been nominated for the 7th edition of the PODES Awards, the Portuguese festival dedicated to national podcast production.

The nomination, in the Science, Technology and Education category, recognises a project that combines scientific rigour with accessible communication of archaeological heritage. The awards ceremony will take place on 8 February at Casa do Comum in Lisbon.

Created as part of the project of the same name, this podcast complements the routes through ceremonial sites and megalithic monuments, offering an immersive experience through the lands of Prehistory. Over nine episodes, listeners embark on a journey to one of the most fascinating yet little-known phenomena of the 4th and 3rd millennia BC, which left a profound mark on the landscape of the Alentejo today.

With this nomination, ERA Arqueologia sees its work in science communication and the promotion of cultural heritage recognised, bringing the general public closer to millennia-old narratives through a contemporary and accessible format.
